Why so many versions of JDeveloper?

I don't get it. I am not sure why oracle is coming up with so many versions of JDeveloper.

Recently I wanted to try Oracle SOA suit. SOA suit has its own version of JDeveloper. I also know there SQLDeveloper and JDeveloper with OA Framework, JDeveloper with ADF and JDeveloper with BI tools.

I am sure oracle can come up with one JDeveloper which has all there features as plugins like SQLDeveloper plugin and SOA plugin etc.

Life would be so easy with that.

A blog about Business Technology

This could mean this blog is about either businesses who are in technology or technology that is used to run businesses. And yes this blog is about both.

I will be talking about these tech companies, their products as well as I will talk about technology used to run current business. This means softwares like ERPs , CRMS, KMs and BI and SOA. That shows lots acronyms. It will also talk about OSes like Unixes, Windows and Linuxes, Databases like Oracle, SQLserver and MySQL.

I will also talk about hardware used to run these software like servers, PCs etc.

In addition I will talk about IT Management and IT Consulting.

Let us hope I could write on this blog with consistancy.
